What do you want to be when you grow up?
We spend our childhoods dreaming up possibilities for future careers, but bizarrely once we commence these careers, the dreaming seems to stop.
We founded Crew after seeing so many of our smart, ambitious friends become disenchanted with their careers & struggle to figure out what to do next. They all want meaningful work, and at the same time, the world is in desperate need of more bright minds tackling its biggest challenges.
Crew is our way of helping people find and maintain fulfillment in their careers, while also trying to make the world a better place, one happy worker at a time.

Mollie Amkraut Mueller
Founder & CEO
Mollie hails from Seattle and has split her adult life between sunny southern California and cozy, grey London (she feels most at home in rainy weather). After starting her career as an auditor at EY, she pivoted into the creative sector and became a business designer at IDEO, the innovation firm that pioneered design thinking.
There were two influential forces that helped Mollie navigate this big career shift: her coach, Miriam, who helped her define a meaningful new path, and her professional peer group, who gave her the confidence and motivation to go out and get it. While designing products and ventures at IDEO, Mollie saw a powerful connection between design thinking and careers. She founded Crew to explore how a combination of career design, coaching, and peer groups could help others design careers that brought them meaning and happiness.

Miriam is an executive coach and facilitator with over 25 years of experience in career and leadership development.
